| Youth Ministry
Being a teen in
today's world is not an easy thing. The youth
ministry at Mountain Home church of Christ is
committed to helping young people find answers to life's
tough questions as well as providing opportunities to
grow both emotionally and spiritually.
Our Sunday
morning and Wednesday evening classes focus on Bible
study as our teens learn to look to God's word as
a guide for their lives.
The Mountain Home church of Christ offers a wide
variety of activities and classes for our youth.
Planned activities strengthen their relationship with
God, encourage a Christ-like spirit of service towards
others, and allow them to experience the fellowship with
like-minded peers. It is our hope that through this
ministry we can lead young people to a lifetime given to
following Christ. We seek to give them a strong
foundation in the scriptures that will help guide them
throughout life.
Some of the activities that the youth are
involved in include retreats, summer camp, bible
studies, Youth Nights, devotionals, Youth Outreach
University, service projects, mission trips,
camping/hiking trips, youth rallies, and the usual
social events such as lock-ins, parties, and fun trips.
Our purpose is to create a balanced program of activity,
our goal is to point our youth toward heaven, our
mission is to help them reach it! We invite you to come
join us as we "press toward the mark for the prize of
the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians
3:14)
